Make sure if you are a Sporting Clays shooter to attend.  The shoot is registered with the NSCA.

South Eastern Idaho Practical Shooters 3 Gun Match – April 30th

April 30th Seips will have one of their three scheduled 3 Gun Matches.  If you like runin’ and gunin’ you need to be at this match.  The three guns needed are a pistol, semi auto rifle, and shotgun.   If you would like more info on the shoot or on the South East Idaho Practical Shooters Club you can email Tim, and of course you can always call us at 208-359-1911 or stop by the store and we can answer alot of questions for you as well.

Skyling Gun Club Sporting Clays Opening Weekend - April 9th & 10th

On Saturday April 9th Sporting Clays will be open at the Skyline Gun Club.  50 birg round is $17 for non members and $15 for members.  For directions to the range call the club house at (208) 525-8575.  If you bring in your receipt for opening weekend we will give 15% off any shotgun ammo in stock and 10% off any special order shotgun ammo.

Rexburg – Henrys Fork Friends of the NRA Banquet – March 25th 2011

March 25th at 6pm the Henrys Fork Friends of the NRA will hold their annual fund raising banquet.  Dinner will be cattered by Chiz’s and will be prime rib.  With Live and Silent auctions, door prizes, games and raffles a good time is sure to be had by all.  Dinner Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased in our store.  Dinner tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased in advance. 

If you purchase your dinner tickets before Feb 14th you will get entered into a special drawing for a Browning BPS Upland Special 12ga Shotgun Donated by Expedition Firearms and the Henrys Fork Friends of the NRA, valued at $619.

The Henrys Fork Friends of the NRA is also holding a pre-event raffle in which you could win a large gun safe and your choice of one of three different gun packages.  You do not need to be present to win the safe package, if you win we will contact you.  $50 per raffle ticket and only 400 tickets will be sold so get yours before they are gone.  Download the flyer for more information.

South East Idaho Practical Shooters – USPSA December Match – Dec 11th 2010

Dec 11th, 2010 – SEIPS is having its December match.  The INL SRT is desiging the stages and it will be 6 pistol stages and 1 rifle stage.  150-200 pistol rounds and 50-75 rifle rounds will be required.  New shooters are welcome as are non SEIPS club members.  Registration will be at 9am and shooting will start around 10am and will go for about 4 hours.  Entry fee is $15 for SEIPS members and $20 for non members.

Skyline Gun Club Christmas Turkey Shoot – Dec 18th 2010

The Skyline Gun Club and Teton Toyota are hosting the Annual Christmas Turkey Shoot next Saturday (12-18-10). We’ll open at 09:00 A.M. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
This is one of the most popular events in the Club’s winter calendar. Family and novices are welcome. Everyone who shoots wins something. Come out and Join in the fun.
For our new friends, the Skyline Gun Club is located on the north side of Idaho Highway 20 (West Arco Highway) at milepost 301, three miles west of Idaho Falls.

South East Idaho Practical Shooters “Frozen Chosen” Match – Jan 1st 2011

This is the yearly match held in honor of the Battle of Chosin Reservoir by the US X Corp, made up of the US Eighth Army, US 7th Infantry Division and the 1st Marine Division.  The battle is made famous by the 1st Marine Division becuase on Nov 25th 1950 seven divisions of the Chinese 9th Army (60,000 plus troops) attacked the lone Marine Division.  The Chinese 9th Army suffered 37,500 casualties at the hands of the Marines who themselves only had 900 killed or missing and 3,500 wounded from combat.  The greatest casualties (6,500) for the Marines came from the extream cold weather rather than combat.  You can download the shoot flyer for more information on the match.
